At Tri-County Council on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault, Inc., our legal advocacy services are designed to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in navigating the legal system and accessing the resources they need to seek justice and protection. Our advocates provide trauma-informed, compassionate and confidential assistance to individuals in crisis, empowering them to understand their legal rights and make informed decisions.


Restraining Orders

We assist cleints in obtaining domestic violence and harrassment restraining orders, offering guidance and support in navigating the legal requirements and advocating for their safety and protection.

Accompaniment Services

Advocates provide accompaniment to law enforcement, district attorney, and child welfare interviews and court hearings, ensuring survivors have the support and advocacy they need during these critical processes.

Information and Support

Our legal advocacy services include providing information about the legal system and process, empowering survivors to understand the steps involved in seeking legal protection and justice. We offer compassionate support and guidance throughout the process.

Crime Victim Compensation

We offer information and assistance in accessing crime victim compensation through the Wisconsin Department of Justice, helping survivors to access the financial support they may be entitled to.
